I'm an astrophysicist and a professor in the Physics Department of the University of Milano Bicocca. I am a visiting professor at Durham University, and a member of the COSMIB research group.

I study how galaxies evolve and form stars by exchanging gas with their surroundings. I use computer simulations and observations from the largest telescopes on the ground and in space.
